Oval acquires high net worth adviser

Oval has acquired a Shropshire-based high net worth adviser business to bolster its offering in the financial advice market.

The firm, which also offers insurance broking services, bought Wills & Partners for an undisclosed sum. Based in Market Drayton, Wills & Partners specialises in investment advice for wealthy individuals. Oval says it plans to separate is advice and capital management businesses during 2009, with Peter Osbourne, a director at Wills & Partners, heading up the launch of a discretionary management service this year.
