Santander appoints MM Japan managers

Santander Asset Management UK has appointed CPR and the DIAM Group to manage its multi-manager Japanese funds.

CPR Asset Management, part of Crédit Agricole, has extensive experience in active fund management in the Japanese market through quantitative methods, according to Santander. DIAM Group (Dai-Ichi Asset Management) is the largest manager of Japanese pension fund assets. It is a locally based fund manager which Santanders says gives it an in-depth understanding of the economy and markets.
