Nine out of ten advisers believe dual-pricing should be banned by the FSA, according to the latest results of IFAonline.co.uk's straw poll.
The figures show growing demand for the regulator to act on the issue, which is causing huge problems for the intermediary community. From a total of 140 votes, 87% of advisers chose “dual-pricing breaches TCF and discourages advice, it should be banned.” Overall, 122 respondents thought the practice should be banned, while 13 felt it was a commercial matter and the FSA does not need to take any action.
