FSA prosecutes investor for insider dealing

An investor from West Yorkshire has been charged with five counts of insider dealing and an additional count of money laundering by the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court.

Neil Rollins was charged with having inside information which related to PM Group plc and subsequently disposed of nearly 75,000 shares in 2006. He was also found to have held inside information on the firm on or before 4 September 2006 and encouraging Louisa Rollins to deal in the company's shares. The court ruled Rollins transferred criminal property of £25,000 on 24 November 2006, £50,000 on 27 November 2006 and £20,000 on 28 November 2006, to an account in his name, knowing or suspecting it to represent the proceeds of insider dealing.
