85% of consumers say insurers TCF

A total of 85% of consumers believe their provider treats customers fairly (TCF), according to research by the Association of British Insurers (ABI).

The annual Customer Impact Survey, a study of 32 insurers, shows the number of customers who say their provider TCF remains unchanged since the survey’s first year, 2006 to 2007. However, 53% think the industry has an excellent reputation, up from 48%. A total of 86% feel their provider makes business easy to deal with, up 1%, and 77% believe their provider ‘really cares about its customers’, up 2%.
