Bupa extends CI premium discount for excluded conditions

Bupa Individual Protection is extending its premium reduction offer for excluded conditions on critical illness.

The insurer will now also cut premiums on policies where cardiovascular and diabetic conditions are omitted having previously launched the offer for cancer and multiple sclerosis exclusions only. Insurance broker LifeSearch is currently spearheading a campaign for providers to commit to premium reductions when exclusions are added to a policy. Currently, only Fortis and Bupa offer a discount, while Axa is considering the move. Additionally, Bupa Individual Protection has removed the age limit for the diagnosis of conditions including dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Motor neurone ...
