Prudential has launched a new business consultancy service designed to help intermediaries develop more efficient businesses.
PruConsulting, tested on 69 intermediary firms throughout 2005, plans to offer advisers four main services: management consulting; personal development and executive coaching; training and development consultancy and business development seminars. Research, conducted on behalf of Prudential by Occam Insight, suggests some key issues affecting intermediaries include an increasing feeling of remoteness from insurers and a sense of isolation due to the increase in legislation and compliance.
