Vivienne Starkey loses battle with cancer

Award-winning financial adviser Vivienne Starkey has died following a year-long battle with breast cancer.

The 62-year-old managing director of London-based IFA firm Equal Partners was known as a tireless client campaigner and champion of the IFA industry. She appeared on BBC television and Radio 4, including Money Box Live and was a regular contributor to national newspapers, including the Times and Telegraph, and the trade press. Vivienne was awarded IFA of the year in 2000 for protection and was a runner up two years later in the Investment Adviser of the Year awards.
