Winterthur launches IHT and trust workshops

Winterthur will begin series of inheritance tax (IHT) planning and trusts workshops next month.

The provider has designed the workshops to help advisers understand industry changes. Winterthur’s John Hancock, life products and development manager, and Sean Burrows, life project technical consultant, will host the workshops. The sessions will include pre-March 2006 trusts, true segmentation and HMRC guidance on discounted gift schemes. Each workshop counts for two hours towards continuing professional development accreditation. Workshops run between October 2 and December 6.
