Asda to sell protection through Lifesearch

Asda and Lifesearch have entered into a partnership to offer life and protection products to consumers through a phone and online service from 29 January.

The announcement follows Scottish Widows’ decision to end its contract to sell life insurance through Asda in September because sales were not as high as expected. The Asda Life Service will offer online and over the phone advice on personal life and protection products, including critical illness, income protection, family income benefit, whole of life insurance and the potential use of trusts.
