CII creates fellowship of nine - no rings involved

The Chartered Insurance Institute has granted nine Honorary Fellowships for the first time since the re-introduction of the award two years ago.

Awards have been given to nine individuals within the insurance and financial services industry, parliament and academia. Aifa's first chairman Lord Hunt of Wirral is one of the newly appointed Honorary Fellows. John Lyons, chairman of the CII Professional Standards Board says: "In today’s multi-faceted insurance world it is important that the CII recognises the outstanding contribution of individuals through the award of Honorary Fellowships."
