B&B to use The Exchange

Bradford & Bingley (B&B) is to use portal The Exchange to create a straight through processing platform for its advisers.

The Exchange, will power quotes and e-new business submissions, building on Vertex’s point of sale system – Omiga – which is designed to provide a customised client servicing and management information back office. The first phase of Omiga went live in January 2006 and the second phase, integrating to Exweb, goes live this summer. The lender hopes the additional point of sale capability provided by the portal will support B&B mortgage advisers in the sale of protection products, and that it will help advisers to match products to their client’s requirements.
