Northern Trust to look after Lifetime Portfolio's MoMs

Wrap platform Lifetime Portfolio has appointed Northern Trust as its sole provider of manager-of-manager funds, ahead of its launch in six months time.

Products will be 'Lifetime Portfolio' branded and leveraged off Northern Trust's Dublin-based VCC range, says director Michael Short, with the first "five or six fund options", ranging from conservative and balanced growth manager of manager funds to global equities and money market facilities, due to hit the market "in the coming months". Other wrap options will later include alternative investments such as hedge funds and private equity. Only last week, Norwich Union increased its stake in the online platform from 7.4% to 49.9%, while Millfield Partnership is the other main owner.IFAo...
