IP Task Force boosts team ahead of white paper

The Income Protection Task Force (IPTF) has added to its executive team as it prepares to write its second white paper on the product.

Claims and underwriting specialist Karin Lloyd, who spent 20 years at Swiss Re, plus Alan Tyler and IFA Roy McLoughlin have joined co-chairmen Clive Waller and Peter Le Beau on the team. The IPTF published its first white paper on income protection (IP) in December 2006 recommending, among other things, tax relief on IP premiums. It plans to launch the second paper later this year.
