CML launches online mortgage advice

The Council of Mortgage Lenders is offering help to both lenders and mortgage intermediaries in the form of a new online training package focused on the regulatory regime coming into effect later this year.

The modular, web-based training tests users’ knowledge of FSA conduct of business rules, and incorporates a feedback mechanism of monitoring and reporting, which help firms with their training and competence compliance procedures. Initial modules planned include: a course for mortgage intermediaries, a course on lifetime mortgages, and a module on business lending. Modules are charged at £50 each, although discounts will apply to large organisations with multiple users. For further information, visit www.cmle-learning.com. IFAonline
