New chief executive for PMI

The Pensions Management Institute (PMI) has announced a new chief executive will take over following the annual general meeting in July.

Vince Linnane, the current head of product management at the PMI, will take up his new post on 13 July, having worked at the Institute for more than 20 years including the post of head of communications and events. The PMI says Linnane has worked closely with Roger Booth, the current chief executive, to introduce and manage a programme of change for the Institute which has advanced more quickly than was originally thought possible.
