Kitson departs in Close Investments shake-up

Close Brothers has announced that sales and marketing director Roland Kitson is set to leave the firm.

Kitson, who has been with the company for 13 years, took up the post in June last year following the departure of Stuart Alexander. Close adds that Stuart Dyer, formerly chief executive at Cofunds, has been promoted to head of UK distribution and Rex Cowley is to take on the role of head of marketing. “After thirteen years at the company the time has come to pass on the baton,” says Kitson, who was responsible for the entire range of investment funds under the Close Investments umbrella. “I have been fortunate in my time at Close to work at the cutting edge of financial services product ...
