Ritchie to take a back seat at ScotEq

Stewart Ritchie will be reducing his role at Scottish Equitable following his potential election as the next president of the Faculty of Actuaries.

He says the ballot papers for the election have now gone out, and as the only candidate for the post, is likely to be successfully elected, meaning he will be spending less time at the Edinburgh-based insurer where he works as director of pensions development. Following the election, Ritchie says Scottish Equitable has been good enough to allow him to cut down his work schedule to two days a week from June, with three days spent on faculty business.
