FSA rolls out financial capability in workplace

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is beginning to roll out its financial capability programme in workplaces across the UK.

The development follows projects earlier this year which focused on the most effective ways and times to reach children and young adults as well as those inside and out of work. The FSA hopes delivering financial education in the workplace will allow it to reach a large and diverse range of people, including those on low incomes who may not have access to any other forms of money advice. The programme – Make the Most of Your Money – involves a trained presenter visiting a worksite, free of charge, to deliver seminars to employees.
