Aegon takes future of advice debate to party conferences

Aegon is preparing to take its vision of the future of the financial advice market to the three main political party conferences later this month.

The firm will join forces with the UK think tank the Social Market Fountain to host a series of roundtables at the Liberal Democrat, Labour and Conservative Party conferences, to be held in Bournemouth, Manchester and Birmingham respectively. It says the debates will focus around a central question - is financial advice for all a realisable vision? – and will include guest speakers Vince Cable MP, Kitty Ussher MP and Aegon chief executive Otto Thoresen.
