Sesame deal struck as Bluefin shuts Thinc

Bluefin Advisory Services has announced it is shutting its Thinc networks following a strategic review, but says members firms will be give the opportunity to immediately join network giant Sesame.

Bluefin says Thinc Network Services Ltd and Thinc Assured Network Ltd will shut after deciding the firm can no longer provide services to businesses that do not bear its name. The networks, which were not rebranded in January as part of the Bluefin Advisory Services launch, have 149 member firms, all of which run wholly independent businesses, consisting of around 290 individual advisers.
