Symponia to move beyond care fees planning

Care fees planning group Symponia is extending its remit to encompass all areas of financial planning for people aged 65 and over.

The group was initially established as a care fees planning organisation, but following a members conference last week it has announced aims to become the leading financial advice group for elderly people in Britain. It believe the progression gives it greater similarity to the legal profession, as most private client departments within solicitor practices already have a specific elderly client division.
