Repossessions up 26% in twelve months

Lenders are repossessing a growing number of properties, according to data from e.surv Chartered Surveyors.

The firm has observed sustained growth in valuations on repossessed property for almost two years, and has seen the trend accelerate since the beginning of 2008. Repossession valuations climbed 26% in the year to May 2008, according to e.surv.
