Aegon UK completes Scottish Equitable International sale

Aegon UK has completed the sale of its luxembourg-based subsidiary, Scottish Equitable International (SEI), SA to La Mondiale Europartner, for an undisclosed sum. SEI SA was established in Luxembourg in June 1995. It offered unit-linked life assurance products primarily into the UK and the Italian markets. It closed to new business in early 2004. Dublin has been the main base for Aegon's offshore operations since 2002.
