FAMR The Financial Advice Market Review (FAMR) has seen the biggest shake-up for the advice sector since the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) four years ago and could easily provide enough material for this article by itself. The joint review from HM Treasury and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) was also the first all-encompassing assessment of financial advice since RDR and concluded with 28 recommendations the industry, regulator and government should exercise to improve the market.
