Our behaviour and actions will usually be determined on what our motivation is; what's the end goal? This is as true in retirement as any other stage of life. If your motivation at retirement is to start your own business, take a belated gap year or even just start to reduce your working hours, you need a suitable - and tax efficient - means of achieving that goal.
