The industry has awaited the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) thematic review into the annuity market with high hopes. However, the results are in and while they do expose the need for wide-ranging reform of the at-retirement market, many industry commentators have expressed disappointment at the lack of direct action currently being taken.
