Some 4.2 million people registered as self-employed over the three months to April 2012, according to research from the Office of National Statistics.That is a vast market of people and it is growing rapidly. However, what we do not know is how many plan for their retirement. Self-employed people deal with accountants, solicitors and other professional advisers regularly so it makes sense to suggest they might work with an IFA.
