Jenna Brown is an award-winning journalist with 20 years’ experience in financial services. 

She is deputy editor of Professional Adviser, having worked on the brand since 2012, and specialises in pensions and retirement. She is also responsible for all externally contributed content for Professional Adviser.

She previously worked as a reporter and news editor on Professional Pensions. Prior to that she worked on local newspapers in the Home Counties.

Jenna won the State Street News Journalist of the Year Award in 2011, the Society of Pensions Consultant Journalist of the Year in 2010 and the Incisive Media Award for Scoop of the Year in 2009, the latter being for her coverage of a story linked to The Pensions Regulator, which attracted national attention after their press officer at the time threatened her with jail over the contents of the story.

She has a degree in law, the NCTJ fast-track in print journalism qualification as well as the NCE.
