Close Brothers AM hires Brooks Macdonald's Wilson as MD

Close Brothers Asset Management has appointed investment management director at Brooks Macdonald Alastair Wilson as a managing director within its Edinburgh office.

The appointment of Wilson, who was a founding member of Brooks Macdonald's Edinburgh office in 2009, is intended to support the growth of Close Brother's high-net-worth investment management capability, the firm said. It is the fourth senior investment hire within Close Brothers' Edinburgh office over the past year, following the appointments of managing director Christopher Godfrey-Faussett earlier this year, and Andrew Mackintosh-Walker and John Henderson last year.
