D2C platform giant Interactive Investor to launch advice proposition

Platform Interactive Investor, which bought D2C and adviser platform Alliance Trust Savings (ATS) last year, has revealed it is going to launch an advice proposition before the end of 2019.

Interactive Investor CEO Richard Wilson said he did not yet know exactly what the advice proposition would look like, but the boss of the UK's second largest D2C platform promised it would be driven by the demands of its customers. "When you go down the guidance journey you end up giving into advice," he explained. "We are doing a lot of things and we can do everything so much better, but we are trying to be better than the rest at listening to customers."
