FundsNetwork boss Pat Shea to retire

Re-platforming project is ongoing

Head of Fidelity FundsNetwork Pat Shea is to retire at the end of 2018 after six years in the role at the platform.

Fidelity praised Shea for leading FundsNetwork through "many phases of growth" but most significantly, it said, for leading the platform through its ongoing re-platforming project. In May, FundsNetwork told Professional Adviser it was still steadily moving clients to its new Bravura Sonata-powered platform from its proprietary technology. Last year, FundsNetwork told Professional Adviser it would undertake a phased migration of adviser firms, clients and accounts to the new platform, similar to how Ascentric is currently completing its re-platforming project.
