Despite ongoing geopolitical pressure and regulatory change, deal activity in financial services remains resilient. Private capital, banks and family offices continue to show strong interest in the sector. PwC's 2026 global M&A outlook reported that total deal values in financial services rose by around 25% in 2025 compared with the previous year.
