We're now over halfway through a decade which has seen much of how advisers use and interact with platforms change beyond recognition. The idea for this article was to explore the trends in the world of adviser platforms across the 2020s so far. But so much of the market narrative in that time has been based around adviser-as-platform. Which is fine – to an extent. It's been a shift among a lot of large advice businesses which have looked to take control of the platform and bring more of the operation in-house.
