I’ve spent the past few days in Dorking attending and hosting PA’s management retreat.

It's been a blast getting out and about meeting senior advisers and business leaders, and there was also a packed agenda of learning. One thing that I heard from some attendees, which didn't used to come up all that much when I was meeting with insurance brokers or underwriters in a past working life, was how great it was to get together overnight because it can be so rare for advisers to get a bit of downtime with each other.
