With December 2023 upon us, festivities have begun, and I hope that everyone finds what they are looking for in the next few weeks. December is also a time for reflection, and I am reminded of the end of 2022, a highly troubled year, and of welcoming the end of the year and the anticipation of better times in 2023. Reflecting on this year, I think I was rather incorrectly optimistic at the time, with 2023 proving to be somewhat better, although challenging and still like wading through economic treacle!
