It is important to consider how we communicate data to clients. For many of us, interpreting graphs and statistics is effortless. However, a lack of experience engaging with such content has an impact on understanding. Even how our eyes explore visual information differs dependent on the expertise of the viewer. A lot of my research involves running studies using techniques such as eye-tracking.
