There have been a few discussions on the subject of paraplanning being a profession in its own right recently. As an adviser who absolutely relies on having some technical back up my knee-jerk reaction to this question is a resounding yes and that has certainly been my experience of paraplanners. It has however been really interesting reading the various comments about who should do what in the advice process, and it has provided some food for thought.
