It's been a long time since I have been to an industry awards ceremony and conference. I know that I am not alone, and that of course the pandemic put paid to such gatherings for the last two years or so. We have all been tucked away in our businesses keeping things going against the odds and the wide availability of modern technology has certainly been a boon in helping us all develop our corporate positions.
