This time last year in Adviser Home research, almost two-thirds (62%) of advisers recorded an increased demand for advice and reassurance and now this has risen to 83%. This might be expected: after a full year since the first lockdown clients are inevitably seeking reassurance where they can. Given the capacity for advisers to offer both formal advice - and informal on a number of concerns people are facing - then this enhanced demand has to be welcomed.
