Ten years ago I would have struggled to articulate properly what a financial adviser even did let alone believe I would today be advising clients on the technical aspects of their investments, pensions and life insurance. In 2014, after I had completed a degree in marketing, my flatmate told me about a job in the payments team in the Newcastle office of Intrinsic - now Quilter Financial Planning.
