2017 is undoubtedly proving to be a year where innovation is being prevented as a result of regulation - perhaps more so than any other year before it. Indeed, I would paraphrase the view of some of my fellow travellers in the platform sector as "We cannot deliver any of the things we want to because we are mired in regulation" or perhaps "Please give us some breathing space".
