When you buy music, you expect the quality and the service to be consistently good, whichever format you use, says Mark Loosmore - and the same applies to the services offered by advisers

As a self-confessed technophile and a fan of new gadgets, I have fully embraced each and every new way of listening to and owning music as it has emerged. That is not to say I exclusively use every new trend and ditch the previous one though. I still own vinyl records, I have a lot of CDs, my phone is packed full of digital songs and I often listen to music through a monthly subscription to Spotify.
