I recently took a good look at the new Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) website and was immediately concerned. You enter its site and are given a few options at the top - one of which is ‘consumers'. I think you can safely assume that most consumers will choose that option for information aimed at them. To my horror, however, when I clicked on this option, I was taken to a page where the headings were as follows (and in this order too): 1. Complaints and compensation 2. Scams 3. Protect yourself 4.
