Hoping for sight of an Asp in the undergrowth

On return from a couple of weeks break in the sun, and having sorted the wheat from the chaff of the umpty-five emails awaiting my return, my thoughts soon turned to whether there had been any significant developments in the world of pensions during the previous fortnight.

Earlier in the year, it had seemed like there was a new revelation every other day, so it was surprising and somewhat a relief that I hadn’t missed out on anything significant. Sure there was lots of chatter about the NPSS proposals, which I would certainly not play down - the outcome will be extremely important to all in the industry, but it’s not a new issue.
