I was completely taken aback recently when I read a Standard Life Bank research report which found that more than 10 million Brits are in the throes of a mid-life crisis!
My first thought was: that’s an awful lot of people full of regrets and drowning their sorrows down the local pub. But I shouldn’t have worried because when someone has a mid-life crisis today, instead of hitting the bottle and reaching for a box of Kleenex, they dust themselves off and start a second life.
