Isn't it time for good news about Protection?

I recently read a book which stated that although we belong to a generation that are probably the safest and healthiest that have ever lived, we constantly worry about what we perceive to be a very dangerous, unsafe, crime and war ridden world we live in.

To make us worry even more, the media frequently present conflicting messages. One day a certain type of food can increase the chances of getting cancer whilst an article the following day suggests that the same food will cause heart disease. The streets are supposedly crawling with marauding gangs of binge drinking, knife-wielding youngsters. Global warming is out of control and we can expect floods and rising tides as well as droughts and severe cold snaps. We should be very afraid of becoming ill because if you have to go to hospital you’ll more than likely contract MRSA or C Diff what...
