St James’s Place (SJP) CEO Mark FitzPatrick faced an analyst grilling on adviser retention this morning (29 July) during an investor half year results call.

Discussion during a Q&A session repeatedly pulled back to retention and the competitiveness of fees paid to advisers. The half year results came as the wealth manager's share price has yet to recover from a 10% slide in mid-July on news of partner firm exits (Wellesley Investment Management and Prospera Wealth Management, with Sovereign Wealth also rumoured to be leaving) to rivals.
