Atomos acquires MWA Financial adding almost £1bn AUM

Will create one of the UK’s largest financial planning firms

Atomos has agreed to acquire MWA Financial in a transaction that will create one of the UK’s largest financial planning firms.

MWA Financial was founded in 2016 by CEO Cam Banks. It oversees approximately £950m in AUA following its acquisition of Hawthorn Financial Services in April this year. Both firms said they share a belief in "holistic advice, long-term stewardship of client wealth and the importance of investing in people, technology, and innovation to meet the evolving needs of clients".
