Former minister Baroness Nicky Morgan wants to set up an inquiry into the financial resilience of women.
Speaking at the PIMFA Women's Symposium today (20 May), Morgan, the former minister for women and equalities, explained that she attempted to do this last year but was unsuccessful. "Financial vulnerability is a predominantly female experience," she said. "Women make up 50% of the population but account for 60% of people in financially vulnerable circumstances."
